How we help in family law.
Does this sound like you?
- A separation where matrimonial assets sit in more than one country.
- Custody arrangements where one parent lives outside Grenada.
- A protection order needed quickly and discreetly from the Court.
- Prenuptial planning ahead of a Caribbean citizenship application.
- Representation in a domestic or inter-country adoption.
Frequently asked.
Are matrimonial assets in different countries divided here?
They can be. We trace and value assets across jurisdictions and coordinate with foreign counsel so a Grenadian order is recognised where the assets actually sit.
Can the Court grant a protection order?
Yes. Where there is risk, we move quickly for protective orders and keep the matter as confidential as the law allows.
Will a Caribbean divorce be recognised abroad?
In most common-law jurisdictions, yes — provided jurisdiction was properly grounded and both parties were heard. We coordinate recognition where required.
Can a separation be settled entirely privately?
Frequently. Many of our matters resolve through private mediation, with the Court used only to formalise the final agreement.
