Private Wealth & Family Office
Our Private Wealth practice advises individuals, families and family offices on preserving, growing and transferring wealth for future generations. We develop tailored structures that preserve family wealth, minimise risk and ensure orderly succession across generations.
Is this about trusts, estate planning, succession or family-office support?
What we do in private wealth.
Selected experience.
Client identities and confidential details are protected; these examples reflect the nature and complexity of matters undertaken by the firm.
International Estate & Succession Dispute
Advised and represented international beneficiaries in a complex estate matter involving assets located in Grenada and overseas jurisdictions. The matter required coordination of succession issues, estate administration, property interests and competing family claims across borders.
Complex Family Law & Property Dispute
Advised and represented parties in high-value family and property disputes involving international assets and complex ownership arrangements. The matters required an understanding of family wealth, property rights and cross-border legal considerations.
Does this sound like you?
- A separation where matrimonial assets sit in more than one country.
- Custody arrangements where one parent lives outside Grenada.
- A protection order needed quickly and discreetly from the Court.
- Prenuptial planning ahead of a Caribbean citizenship application.
- Representation in a domestic or inter-country adoption.
Frequently asked.
Are matrimonial assets in different countries divided here?
They can be. We trace and value assets across jurisdictions and coordinate with foreign counsel so a Grenadian order is recognised where the assets actually sit.
Can the Court grant a protection order?
Yes. Where there is risk, we move quickly for protective orders and keep the matter as confidential as the law allows.
Will a Caribbean divorce be recognised abroad?
In most common-law jurisdictions, yes — provided jurisdiction was properly grounded and both parties were heard. We coordinate recognition where required.
Can a separation be settled entirely privately?
Frequently. Many of our matters resolve through private mediation, with the Court used only to formalise the final agreement.
